Hello! Our team, made up of seniors and a few faculty members at Valley Regional High School, along with one of our most active local veterans, Richard Naggot, has come together with a meaningful mission: to honor the 14 men from our community who gave their lives fighting in World War II. At VRHS, 14 trees were planted along the driveway to honor these fallen heroes. Over the past 70 years, these trees have stood strong, but they are now struggling to survive.
To preserve their legacy, our team is committed to replacing the dying trees with 14 new ones. This project not only honors the 14 veterans who served in World War II, but all the veterans who have ever served Deep River. We deeply value their sacrifices and believe it is our responsibility to ensure they are remembered. We appreciate your time, support, and generosity as we work to complete this important project and continue honoring our veterans for generations to come.
